1. GENERAL TERMS

These Terms & Conditions apply to all appointments, services, purchases, vouchers, and interactions with Nelly’s Beauty House (“the salon”). By booking an appointment, purchasing a product or voucher, or entering our premises, you agree to these terms in full.

We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. The most up-to-date version will always be published on our website.


2. BOOKINGS & APPOINTMENTS
  • Appointments can be made online, by phone, WhatsApp or in person.
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of booking details (treatment, therapist, date, and time).
  • Some treatments require a patch-test or consultation. Where required, these must be completed at least 24 hours prior; failure to do so may result in cancellation or rescheduling.
  • Certain treatments may not be suitable if you have specific medical conditions, are pregnant, or are taking medications. Inform your therapist of any health changes at each visit.

3. CANCELLATIONS & LATE ARRIVALS
  • We kindly request 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or amendments.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a charge or losing a prepaid session (for packages/courses).
  • Clients arriving late may receive a shortened treatment to avoid delays for subsequent clients.
  • If lateness prevents the treatment from being carried out safely, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and may be charged at the salon’s discretion.

4. HEALTH, ILLNESS & HYGIENE

To maintain a safe and comfortable environment:

  • Please do not attend if you are unwell with flu-like symptoms, fever, stomach bugs, contagious skin conditions, or anything that could affect treatment safety.
  • Contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. No penalties will apply for illness-related cancellations made in good faith.
  • Our salon operates strict hygiene protocols including regular cleaning of treatment rooms, tools, high-touch surfaces, and equipment.
  • Therapists follow professional hygiene standards including hand washing, sanitisation, and use of PPE when appropriate.
  • Clients must inform the therapist of any medical conditions, allergies, or recent procedures before treatment.
  • If a member of staff becomes unwell, we may need to reschedule appointments. Clients will be notified promptly.

This Health & Hygiene Policy forms part of our standard operating practices.


5. PAYMENTS
  • Payment is due at the end of each appointment unless prepaid (packages/vouchers).
  • We accept cash and card payments. Bank transfer payments are accepted for vouchers/packages purchased online.
  • Prices shown are the total price payable for the service.
  • Discounts, vouchers, or loyalty rewards cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.

6. PATCH TESTS & TREATMENT SAFETY
  • Tinting, lash lifts, certain facials, and semi-permanent make-up require a patch test at least 24 hours prior.
  • Laser hair removal requires a consultation and a patch test.
  • Failure to complete mandatory tests will result in rescheduling.

7. REFUNDS & RETURNS
  • Treatments: Non-refundable once completed.
  • Packages & Courses: Non-refundable due to discounted pricing.
  • Products: Refundable only if a reaction occurs and the product is returned in person for assessment.
  • Vouchers: Non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

8. GIFT VOUCHERS
  • Valid for 365 days from purchase.
  • Discounted vouchers may have restrictions (detailed in offer terms).
  • Must be presented at the time of booking or payment.
  • Cannot be used to purchase other vouchers unless stated.

9. LOYALTY SCHEME
  • Clients earn rewards over multiple visits.
  • On the 6th visit, 50% off up to three selected treatments (exclusions apply).
  • Loyalty cards are valid for 1 year from the first visit.
  • Non-transferable and non-refundable.

10. OFFERS & PROMOTIONS

From time to time, Nelly Keung Health & Beauty Centre runs seasonal or promotional offers. All offers are subject to availability and operate alongside our standard salon Terms & Conditions unless otherwise stated.

Only the offers listed in the Active Promotions section below are currently valid. All previous offers remain governed by the terms in place at the time of purchase and are listed under Historic Promotions.


Active Promotions


Mother’s Day Complimentary Massage Offer (8–21 March 2026)

Clients who book a treatment with Nelly between Sunday 8th March and Saturday 21st March 2026 will receive a complimentary 10-minute neck and shoulder massage.

• Offer valid for treatments booked and taken during this period only
• Applies to treatments with Nelly only
• Excludes Botox, Semi-Permanent Eyelashes, Semi-Permanent Make-Up and Teeth Whitening
• Clients must add the complimentary neck and shoulder massage add-on during online booking to redeem the offer
• One complimentary massage per appointment
• Offer cannot be exchanged for cash or used with other promotional discounts


Mother’s Day Gift Voucher Promotion (8–15 March 2026)

A 15% discount will be applied to gift vouchers purchased between Sunday 8th March and Sunday 15th March 2026.

• Vouchers valid for 365 days from the date of purchase
• Valid for treatments with Nelly only
• Multiple vouchers may be purchased
• Vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash


Historic Promotions


The following promotions were previously run by the salon. These offers are no longer available for purchase but remain valid for clients who purchased during the original promotional period. Redemption remains subject to the original conditions.

Black Friday 2025 (26–30 November 2025)

1. Gift Voucher Promotion

• 35% discount applied to selected voucher denominations (£20, £25, £30, £40, £50, £75, £100)
• £10 vouchers excluded from the promotion
• Vouchers valid for 365 days from purchase
• Redeemable for treatments with Nelly only
• Not valid for laser treatments, packages, courses or other promotional offers

2. Laser Hair Removal Promotion

• 50% discount applied to single laser treatment areas only
• Offer valid for purchases made 28–30 November 2025
• Laser packages and bundled treatments excluded
• Purchased treatments have no expiry date
• Patch test required prior to treatment

3. 2-for-1 Treatment Promotion

• Pay for one treatment and receive the cheapest treatment free
• Valid for one use per client
• Both treatments must be for the same person in a single appointment
• Excludes Laser Hair Removal, packages, courses and previously discounted treatments
• Treatments had to be completed by 21 December 2025


Valentine’s Gift Voucher Promotion (1–16 February 2025)

• 14% discount applied at purchase
• Vouchers valid for 365 days from purchase
• Redeemable for treatments with Nelly only
• Not combinable with other promotions


New Year £10 Voucher (January 2025)

• Issued to clients completing a treatment between 6–31 January 2025
• Voucher redeemable for February 2025 treatments only
• Non-transferable and not combinable with other discounts


Black Friday Week (25 November – 1 December 2024)

• 30% discount applied to vouchers purchased during the promotional dates
• Voucher validity 365 days from purchase
• Discounted packages remain redeemable with no expiry date
• Laser packages purchased with discount remain valid indefinitely
• Not combinable with loyalty rewards or other promotions


Historic Offers – Summary

11. HEALTH & SAFETY
  • All products and treatments comply with UK health and safety regulations.
  • Clients agree to follow therapist instructions for aftercare.
  • In the event of an adverse reaction, clients should seek medical advice immediately and notify the salon.

12. FREELANCE MEDICAL & ADVANCED PRACTITIONERS

The salon hosts independent, fully qualified freelance practitioners offering services such as:

  • Botox and injectable treatments (administered by a GMC-registered doctor)
  • Semi-permanent make-up
  • Teeth whitening
  • Other advanced aesthetic treatments

Clients booking with freelance practitioners acknowledge:

  • These practitioners are legally responsible for their own clinical work, insurance, and aftercare.
  • The salon provides the premises but is not liable for outcomes, complications, or medical decisions made by freelancers.
  • Complaints or follow-up relating to aesthetic treatments must be directed to the practitioner who carried out the service.

13. CLIENT CONDUCT

We reserve the right to refuse service where necessary, including but not limited to:

  • Abusive or inappropriate behaviour
  • Failure to follow hygiene/health guidance
  • Repeated missed appointments
  • Contraindications that make treatment unsafe

14. PRODUCT SHIPPING & COLLECTION
  • Products purchased in-salon can be collected immediately.
  • Delivered products may take up to 7 days.
  • The salon is not liable for courier damage but will assist where possible.

15. LIABILITY
  • The salon’s public liability insurance covers all treatments performed by our employees.
  • The salon is not liable for loss, damage, or injury caused by failure to follow aftercare, providing inaccurate medical information, or treatments performed by freelance practitioners.
  • Personal belongings brought to the salon are the client’s responsibility.

16. FORCE MAJEURE

The salon is not liable for cancellation or disruption caused by circumstances beyond our control, including weather, illness, emergencies, or government restrictions.


17. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
